Art's Alive (Ocean City) What could be better than fine art at the beach. How about fine art for sale around a beautiful lagoon in a picturesque park with expansive bay views. Visit 100 artists as they sell their works.

Corbits Charge Civil War Encampment (Westminster)  Civil War Living History encampment with artillery and infantry demonstrations, Civil War era children's games. Parade at 11am on Sat. Learn about the tragic battle that took place on Westminster's streets. 

One Life: Babe Ruth (DC) National Portrait Gallery--The exhibition puts more than 40 Babe Ruth artifacts on display, including photographs and memorabilia, along with items related to the men who pursued his records, such as Hank Aaron and Roger Maris. Through May 21, 2017. Free.

Afro Bop Alliance (Cheverly) Latin Grammy Winner Afro Bop Alliance performs Afro-Cuban jazz with a big band sound that exquisitely balances jazz & Latin styles & electrifies fans with its smart, steamy, exhilarating sound. 

Civil War Cigar and Whiskey Night (Dickerson) Taste history with Civil War-inspired spirits, beers, and food at this event hosted by the National Museum of Civil War Medicine at Strong Mansion.
Seldom Scene (Annapolis) Since its inception in 1971, the Seldom Scene has thrived on playing bluegrass a little differently than everyone else. 
Live on the Plaza (Bethesda) Live on the Plaza takes place at Bethesda Metro Plaza - Bethesda Metro Center This event is free and open to the public. Join Clark Enterprises for an evening full of summer fun.

Avanti Masterwork Festival Orchestra (Frederick) Pablo Saelzer leads the Masterwork Festival Orchestra in a performance of Copland’s Short Symphony and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. 
Boat Tour: Learning about the Susquehanna Flats (Havre de Grace) Join the HdG Maritime Museum's Environmental Center on a tour of the upper bay, onboard the Miss Nancy pontoon boat! Learn and have fun too in the native waters. 
Movie Night: One Six Right-an Aviation Classic (Frederick) There’s nothing like watching a movie about flying in a hangar on a warm summer evening! Add free hot dogs, popcorn and soft drinks, and it’s the perfect setting for family fun. Climb into the pilot’s seat of one of our Cessna 172’s.  Try your hand at flying our FMX (full motion flight simulator). All this within a few steps of the runway at Frederick Municipal Airport. Chesapeake Crab and Beer Festival (Baltimore) This is the 3RD Annual Maryland Tradition! The Festival is an ALL-YOU-CARE-TO-TASTE extravaganza complete with over 30,000 crabs, lots of beer, arts & crafts and live music.
Flashback Farming (Cockeysville) Learn what it was like to be a Baltimore County planter in the 17th century. See an exhibit on 19th century dairying, make your own butter, learn how electricity and the telephone changed a farm wife’s life.
Garrett County Gran Fondo (Deep Creek Lake) A long-distance cycling event for cyclists of all abilities.

Barenaked Ladies, OMD, and Howard Jones (Baltimore)  Amazing lineup of artists for this summer
Jim Brickman (Annapolis) Jim Brickman has revolutionized the sound of solo piano with his pop-style instrumentals and star studded vocal collaborations. 
ManneqART Madness (Savage) More than 50 sculptural artworks from as far away as Ketchikan, AK, are presented to the public on stunning models, fully made up and professionally photographed for the 2017 ManneqART Calendar. Back for its 4th year. 
Race UP the Face (McHenry) This could be the steepest 400 m foot race in the U.S. Competitors run, walk and crawl their way to the top of Wisp Resort’s 600’ vertical ski run.
Refugees on the Silk Road (Columbia) Nadia Hashimi will read from and discuss her most recent work, When the Moon is Low, which has its roots in today’s refugee crisis, and offer a sneak peek at her upcoming novel, House Without Windows. 
Village People (Hanover) Village People at Rams Head Center Stage is a one of-a-kind act synonymous with dance music. Expect high-energy choreography with lots of singing & dancing: great for audiences of all ages & backgrounds.
