Reginald F. Lewis Museum--Bring the whole family and enjoy live entertainment, geneology experts, and great food. This family event is as fun as it is informative. 

Bowie State University Bike Tour (Bowie)
Help celebrate Bowie State's rich history and raise money for scholarships and other designated charities at the 2nd Annual BSU Bike Tour.
Maureen O'Prey will present an engaging lecture on the rich history of brewing in Maryland and the stories of the immigrants that helped build the industry.
HEAL's Color Splash 5K Run/Walk is a unique family event where participants get "splashed" with an array of powder colors throughout the course. This "Fun Run" is geared towards all fitness levels. 
Enjoy over 100 exhibiting artists & artisans, MD breweries, food trucks, vendors, live entertainment, block by block in Downtown Hyattsville. An estimated 4,500 people attend this free, family-friendly event.
In the Street (Frederick)

Operation Warrior Refuge Fundraising Event to support Vets with PTSD. Enjoy music, food and baseball as you watch the Blue Crabs and listen to Driving Muzzy and NGJB. 
This annual race that benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has become one of the most popular of its kind in the country, and the only of its kind in the nation’s capital. Cheer on athletes as they embark on a 1.5k swim through the Potomac River, followed by a challenging 40k bike course. The triathlon concludes with a 10k through DC’s most renowned landmarks followed by the rejuvenating Finish Festival.
The main street of town is closed to cars and open to shoppers for a day of unique arts, live music, all types of food and a pirate-themed KidZone. Back for its 43rd year.

Come From Away (D.C.)
One of the most anticipated theater offerings of the year, David Hein’s and Irene Sankoff’s Broadway-bound musical makes its East Coast premiere in Washington after selling out two engagements out West. The story revolves around the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, when planes were diverted to a small town in Canada. Through Oct. 9. 7:30 p.m. $18-$71.

Grease (D.C.)
This is the second-to-last outdoor screening for the series at Union Market. Next up? The 1984 version of "Ghostbusters" on Oct. 7. Parking costs $10; otherwise, it's free. 8-10 p.m.

Defenders’ Day at North Point Reenactment & Commemoration honors the Battle of North Point, part of the defense of Baltimore, when British troops invaded in 1814.

Dick Dale (Annapolis)Dick Dale invented surf music in the 1950s. Not the '60's as is commonly believed. He was given the title "King of the Surf Guitar" by his fellow surfers with whom he surfed from sun-up to sun-down. 

First Sunday Arts Festival (Annapolis)
