Kent County Fair (Chestertown)
Great food, 4-H and community exhibits, animals, tractors, games and entertainment. The focus of the fair is agricultural education and providing educational opportunities for county youth.

The Baltimore County 4-H Fair (Timonium)
Fun, learning and excitement for the whole family at the The Maryland State Fairgrounds.

Reggae, Wine, Music & Art Festival (Mt. Airy)
Relax on the lawn and enjoy the sounds of the islands. There will be wine sampling, tours and wonderful vendors with art, crafts and great food. Festival runs 11-6 with gates opening at 10am, Sat and Sun. Tickets are $25.25 on line and $30 at the gate. www.missiontix.com

Living Earth Festival (D.C.)
National Museum of the American Indian--This festival, now in its sixth year, informs visitors about issues of environmental concern and focuses on traditional agricultural practices, renewable energy and living healthy.

Magmanus (Germantown)
 The Swedish circus company features comedy, acrobatics and juggling. The free tumbling workshop and outdoor show is part of BlackRock's free summer concert series.

Berlin Bathtub Races (Berlin)
High energy and competitive race between businesses in Berlin in custom built bathtub. Tons of fun and excitement for all ages. A must see event!!

DC Scoop Festival (D.C.)
Union Market--An ice cream fair with vendors from more than 15 different creameries competing for the title of "Best Ice Cream." Event features free ice cream samples, eating contests, raffles and giveaways. For all ages.

Basket Making Workshop (Oella)
Learn basket making with colonial interpreter, Joan Betzold, and construct Amy’s Basket, a useful 8 x 8 x 12” basket with an old and unusual pattern.

Beyond the Garden Gate (Westminster)
Eight plus gardens will be available to view. Walk the the street of this lovely gem of a village that exhibits a variety of eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth century structures, including the Uniontown Academy built in 1851. Enjoy refreshments and live music in the shade of our old trees.
