Parlor Plays: "Be Professional" and "Orange!" (Baltimore)
Baltimore playwright Peter Davis will present two of his Parlor Plays, “Orange!” and “Be Professional” on November 20 at 8 pm and November 21 and 22 at 7 and 9 pm. Both plays are about twelve minutes long and feature two characters. Venue offers the warmth of a home and the funky vibe of a salon.

From Pen to Press: Experimentation and Innovation in the Age of Print (Baltimore)
This exhibition explores that moment of tension, beginning with the publication of Gutenberg’s Bible in 1455, when printing was a new, experimental medium. The result was a fascinating interplay of formats that led to hybrid works, failed experiments, and entirely new forms of books. This story is especially pertinent now, as we are experiencing our own technological revolution, moving from printed book to digital publishing.

For each good brought, receive a raffle ticket for a basket of prizes from our gift shop (list of accepted goods at www.howardcountymd.gov/RNCspecialevents.htm). Let your family enjoy the exhibits and Discovery Room, or buy a ticket to watch a planetarium show while you find the perfect present. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No registration necessary. Robinson members receive a 15% discount on gift shop purchases on this night only.
