Mad Decent Block Party (Columbia)
 For the second year, producer-DJ Diplo is returning to Merriweather with a ratpack of noisy, exhilaratingly rude boys and girls of electronic music, and this summer's bill is gearing up to be even more compelling. This will be a great day to visit Mount Harmon ~ an historic Tidewater plantation and 200-acre nature preserve, and enjoy a wide variety of nature inspired activities and exhibitors! Visitors will delight in seeing the rare American Lotus in full bloom, enjoy local artists, artisans, a nature & craft activities for kids, plant sale, birding & nature walks, music, food & more!

19th Annual Peach Festival (Stevensville)
Free parking and admission, hayrides, you-pick peaches, blackberries. Peach ice cream, pit beef, hot dogs.

44th Annual Corn Roast Festival (Westminster)
Fried chicken, roll, sliced tomatoes, applesauce and all the roast corn you can eat. Music, craft vendors, gift shop, stone ground flours from the Mill and guided tours of the Shriver Homestead and Grist Mill.
