Chautauqua 2016 "Masters of Their Craft" (Catonsville)
Taking its name from its origins in New York State, Chautauqua (shuh-TAW-kwa) is a free humanities program that brings history to life with performances of celebrated figures from our nation’s past.

Chesapeake Beach Water Park Under the Stars (Chesapeake Beach)
Night slides, that popular attraction, returns along with fun and games for the entire family at this great Park. Special lower admission for those arriving after 7:30pm. 

Cirque Italia (Gaithersburg)
A Dinosaur, Mermaid, and human sized bubbles... Oh my! This isn't Kansas or the Land of Oz Dorothy, it's a Water Circus!!! Cirque Italia is coming back Gaithersburg, MD! 

Merryland Music Fest (Columbia)
The String Cheese Incident, Ben Harper, Grace Potter, Lotus, and more. Merryland Music Fest will feature no overlapping sets with a mix of 17 bands ranging from dynamic national headliners, genre breaking acts from the jam band world and emerging local favorites. We will take advantage of the new state of the art turntable stage that Merriweather has recently unveiled where one band finishes, the stage rotates and just a few minutes later the next act starts rockin'. Beyond the music, Merryland offers unique local artisans, philanthropic organizations, and everyones favorite local brew, Flying Dog, which will be serving up our very own All Good ISA (India Seasonal Ale) along with other selected brands.

Lake Arbor Jazz Festival (Mitchellville)
Talented local artists join together for a day and evening of jazz music featuring some of Washington, D.C.’s finest jazz and R&B groups. 

Nights on the Fringe (Baltimore)
An immersive arts experience in the vein of vaudeville. See all kinds of performers on stage, and off stage too: theatre, dance, puppetry and more. Enter the Theatre Project and be amazed. 

Paint It! (Ellicott City)
Professional artists from around the Mid-Atlantic will set up their easels throughout Historic Ellicott City for three days, capturing the city’s unique charm and character while competing for cash prizes 

Baltimore County 4-H Fair (Timonium)
Fun, learning and excitement for the whole family at the The Maryland State 
Fairgrounds. 

Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Association Show (Easton)
Experience astonishing displays of operating antique steam & gas engines, vintage cars, trucks, tractors & farm implements. demonstrations of early crafts: Spinning, Weaving, Quilting.

Carriage Day (Cockeysville)
Come out to the Ag Center to see horse carts up close, learn about the sport, cheer the drivers as they navigate obstacles. Afterwards kids can run the course themselves (sans horse).

Taste of Cambridge Crab Cook-Off Festival (Cambridge)
Taste and vote for top crab dishes by restaurant chefs in four categories during a downtown street festival honoring the Chesapeake's seafood heritage; tickets to the tasting sell out fast, so come early or buy in advance.
