14th Annual Watermelon Festival (Mardela Springs)

Little Bennett Great Outdoors Festival (Clarksburg)
 The third annual event offers outdoor activities, music, games, food and exhibits. Participating organizations include natural conservationists, arts organizations, police, park rangers and outdoor recreation companies.

National Dance Day: Dance for Everybody (DC)
