5th Annaul Annapolis Oyster Roast and Sock Burning (Annapolis)
Celebrate spring with a family-friendly feast of the Chesapeake's most cherished bivalve. Festivities begin with the annual sock burning and go on to include live music, shucking and cooking demonstrations, an oyster shucking contest, and exhibits highlighting the area’s unique maritime heritage and the role oysters play in maintaining the health of the Bay. Feast on oysters any way you like them – raw, steamed, fried, and grilled.

Empty Bowl Project: Soup Dinner (Ocean City)

A non-linear, impressionistic text tells the story of world very like our own: sea levels are rising, trees are being ravaged, and jazz may be the only thing that can save humanity. Dance On Bones is inspired by and structured around jazz music, riffing off of the folklore of the jazz scenes in St. Petersburg, Russia and New Orleans, Louisiana; creation myths; flooding cities; and current environmental circumstances washing away our shores.
