Artists Paint OC--A Plein Air Paintout (Ocean City)

Orioles vs. Cardinals (Baltimore)

Baltimore County Restaurant Week (Towson)

FestAfrica (Silver Spring)
On August 9th & 10th, 2014 the Afropolitan Youth Association (AYA) will host the 12th annual festival, FestAfrica.

Moonrise Festival (Pimlico Race Track)
This two day event will feature four stages hosting a wide range of international, regional, and local EDM talent and live acts as well as visual artists, a vendor village, a Ferris wheel, and of course a massive audio and lighting production bigger and better than any we’ve done before. Carroll County Farmers Market's Peach Festival (Westminster)
Bike Run. Entertainment. Free peach treats donated by vendors. Peaches, peach pies, cakes, cobblers, ice cream sundaes. Breakfast and lunch served. extended hours.

Beach Party Family Festival (D.C.)
American Art Museum--Enjoy steel drum music from local DC band Oasis Island sounds and learn to hula with Kinikia from DC Hippodrome.  There will be sand, shells, and sports for various summer crafts and games.

Seafood Feast-I-Val (Cambridge)
All-you-can-eat menu including seafood and barbeque chicken; live entertainment; exhibits; classic car show; and historic tours. This event held at the Sailwinds Park and Benefits the Rescue Fire Company.

Hops in History (Westminster)
Did you know brewing is older than America? Or that taverns were central to early Carroll County society?  Find out why during our first annual Hops in History festival! Artisans from Carroll’s own Midnight Home Brewing Club will demonstrate early brewing techniques. Guests may sample non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages brewed with ingredients used by our ancestors. Many will surprise you!

Sophie and Madigan's Kidstock (Frederick)
Remembering 2 girls with 1 day of peace and music. Sophie & Madigan loved music, dance, and art! What better way to celebrate and raise funds for Sophie and Madigan's Playground than to throw an amazing music and arts festival catering specifically to kids and their families! National and local musicians and artisans will gather in Frederick to take part in this unique kid centered event giving families the opportunity to come together PLAY, LEARN, and CREATE new and meaningful memories.

Boulevard of Chic - Baltimore's Fashion Truck Shopping Event (Baltimore)
On Saturday August 9th, Boulevard of Chic II - Lights, Camera, Fashion truck shopping event will take place 12:00-7:00pm on Rash Field in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor! Boulevard of Chic (BOC) is Baltimore’s premiere fashion truck rally and shopping event, featuring a variety of mobile boutiques.

34th Annual Leitersburg Peach Festival (Leitersburg)
Saturday 10-5pm; Sunday 12-5pm. Everything peaches! Peach pie, ice cream, over 90 arts & craft vendors,pie contest, antique tractor display. Come and have a peachy day!

Summer Movie at the Wine Bin - Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (Ellicott City)
PG-13 The Wine Bin’s outdoor summer movies run Saturday nights from June through September. Parking lot closes an hour before show time. The Bin offers a wine tasting before each movie and has coolers of ice to chill your beer and wine. Bring a chair and a picnic. (and a blanket). The Bin offers popcorn and bottled water to benefit Voices for Children of Howard County.


Waterman's Appreciation Day (St. Michael's)
