A common sight in Maryland is vultures.
We have black vultures. We have turkey vultures. And we have lots and lots and lots of them.
Here's a picture Ninon took when driving to Eldersburg in November. She stopped and counted 28 on the way up. When she came home 2 hours later, she stopped and counted 49.
Maryland also has copious amounts of deer, which are frequently killed by cars, so the vultures do their part to help keep Maryland clean!
