There has been some historical rivalry over the years between "The Maritime Republic of Eastport" and Annapolis. They have quite a civilized way of dealing with it. A huge, annual tug of war! Love Oysters? Oysterfest!
One of my favorite places to visit in the Fall is St Michaels. It's a lovely place! Who knew they have an Oysterfest each year? Saturday, 10-4. I will never attend, since I'm allergic to shellfish, but it sure looks like the best place to go if you love oysters!
